How to Set Up ADnull DNS on Windows Using DNS Manager

What does the script do? DNS Manager for Windows is a script that automatically configures ADnull DNS on your computer using simple dialog windows — no manual registry or network editing required. The script configures: - System DNS — for all apps Replaces DNS servers on all active network adapters with ADnull and enables DNS-over-HTTPS at the Windows level. This means ADnull will block ads and trackers in all programs — browsers, games, messengers, and more. - DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) — for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera, Opera GX, Brave, Vivaldi, Arc Configures secure DoH separately in each browser using official Windows Group Policy mechanisms (registry). The browser encrypts DNS requests and sends them directly to ADnull, bypassing the internet provider. When finished, the script flushes the Windows DNS cache. Requirements - Windows 10 version 2004 (May 2020) or later, or Windows 11 - Administrator rights (the script will request them automatically) Step 1. Download the script Log in to your ADnull dashboard → Settings → click "DNS Manager for Windows". The file adnull-windows-XXXXX.bat will be saved to your Downloads folder. Step 2. Run as Administrator Open the Downloads folder, find the file adnull-windows-XXXXX.bat, right-click it and select "Run as administrator". Step 3. Bypass the SmartScreen warning Windows may show a blue window with the message: "Windows protected your PC". This is a standard warning for scripts that do not have a publisher's digital signature. To continue: 1. Click "More info" 2. Click "Run anyway" Step 4. Confirm administrator rights A standard UAC (User Account Control) prompt will appear. Click "Yes". Step 5. Browser restart warning An ADnull dialog will appear: WARNING! All browsers will be restarted to apply the settings. Please save all data before continuing. Save any open tabs and unsaved data, then click "Continue". Step 6. Choose where to enable DNS A checklist will appear showing only the browsers installed on your computer. - System DNS (all apps) — enables ADnull across the entire system - Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and others — configures DNS-over-HTTPS per browser To disable ADnull for a specific item — uncheck it. Click OK. Step 7. Done! A confirmation dialog will appear: "Settings applied". Restart your browsers if they did not restart automatically. FAQ Why does the SmartScreen warning appear? SmartScreen checks the file's digital signature. The script is generated individually for each user and therefore does not have a large publisher's signature. This is normal — you can verify the script's contents yourself by opening it in Notepad. How do I disable ADnull DNS? Run the script again and uncheck the items you want to remove — the settings will be cleared. Do I need to run the script after every restart? No. The settings are saved in the Windows registry and remain active after any restart. Does the script support my version of Windows? The script supports Windows 10 version 2004 (May 2020, build 19041) and later, as well as Windows 11. If your version is outdated, the script will notify you and exit. Is the script safe? Yes. The script is generated individually for your account. It only changes DNS settings in the Windows registry and collects no data. Do not share the script with anyone — it is tied to your personal DNS domain. How to open the script and verify it is safe Right-click the file adnull-windows-XXXXX.bat and select "Open with" → "Notepad". The script is written in plain text — you will see every command it runs.
