Setting Up ADnull DNS in Microsoft Edge

Last updated on Mar 19, 2026

This guide explains how to enable DNS over HTTPS (DoH) in the Microsoft Edge browser and route requests through your personal ADnull DNS.

Step 1. Open Edge Settings

Click the three dots in the top right corner → Settings.

Step 2. Go to Privacy, search, and services

Select Privacy, search, and services from the left menu.

Step 3. Find the Security section and enable secure DNS

Scroll down to the Security section → find Use secure DNS → enable the toggle → select Choose a service provider → from the dropdown choose Custom.

Step 4. Enter the DoH address

Paste the address into the field:

https://YOUR-SUBDOMAIN.dns.adnull.com/dns-query

Replace YOUR-SUBDOMAIN with your personal subdomain — it is shown in the Settings section of your ADnull account.

Click Save.

Done!

Microsoft Edge now uses ADnull DNS. Ads and trackers are blocked at the DNS level in your browser.

FAQ

DoH was not applied after saving

Restart Edge and make sure the address is entered without spaces and starts with https://.

Is DoH supported in Edge on mobile?

Edge on Android supports DoH in browser settings.
