Setting Up ADnull DNS in Chrome

Last updated on Mar 19, 2026

This guide explains how to enable DNS over HTTPS (DoH) in the Chrome browser and route requests through your personal ADnull DNS.

Step 1. Open Chrome Settings

Click the three dots in the top right corner → Settings.

Step 2. Go to the Security section

Privacy and securitySecurity.

Step 3. Enable secure DNS

Find Use secure DNS → enable the toggle → in the Select DNS provider dropdown choose Add custom DNS service provider.

Step 4. Enter the DoH address

Paste the address into the Enter custom DNS query URL field:

https://YOUR-SUBDOMAIN.dns.adnull.com/dns-query

Replace YOUR-SUBDOMAIN with your personal subdomain — it is shown in the Settings section of your ADnull account.

Press Enter or click outside the field — the setting is saved automatically.

Done!

Chrome now uses ADnull DNS. Ads and trackers are blocked at the DNS level in your browser.

FAQ

Where do I find my subdomain?

Go to the Settings section in your ADnull account — the subdomain is shown in the "DNS Domain" card.

DoH was not applied after saving

Restart Chrome and make sure the toggle is enabled and the address is entered without spaces.

Does this work on mobile Chrome (Android/iOS)?

On Android — yes.

On iOS, Chrome uses the system DNS and does not support DoH in browser settings. Use the Apple profile from the Settings section instead.
