Setting Up ADnull DNS on a TP-Link Router

Last updated on Mar 16, 2026

These instructions apply to most TP-Link models including Archer and TL-WR series.

ADnull DNS addresses

Primary DNS 188.190.191.78

Secondary DNS 188.190.191.52

Step 1. Log in to the router web interface

Open a browser and go to:

http://tplinkwifi.net

or

http://192.168.0.1

Enter your login and password. Default is admin / admin, or check the label on the bottom of the router.

Step 2. Go to advanced settings

In the main menu select:

Advanced → Network → Internet

Step 3. Set DNS manually

Find the DNS section and switch it to Manual or Use the following DNS servers.

Enter:

  • Primary DNS: 188.190.191.78

  • Secondary DNS: 188.190.191.52

Click Save.

Alternative — via DHCP

If the method above did not work, try via DHCP:

Advanced → Network → DHCP Server

Enter:

  • DNS Server 1: 188.190.191.78

  • DNS Server 2: 188.190.191.52

Click Save and restart the router.

Done!

ADnull DNS is now active. All devices on your network are protected — ads and trackers are blocked automatically.
